    PHIMOSED PREPUTIAL SAC SERVING AS AN ADVENTITIOUS URINARY RESERVOIR

    Abstract

    This case was unusual in that the preputial orifice was so greatly phimosed that a small quantity of urine always remained within the preputial sac, while at the same time five small, smooth and fairly round uric acid calculi were found entrapped therein. A Negro boy, aged 15, presented himself in June, 1931, with the complaint of painful and difficult urination. The patient was of the arrested mental development type and appeared to have the wit of a child of 10. The parents being absent at the time of the examination, no dependence could be placed in the past history. No information relating to urinary calculi could be elicited. The boy had been having trouble in voiding the urine for some years.
