AB - Using current Australian experience as a reference point, the costsand benefits of multiskilling are critically analysed. First, anattempt is made to identify key organisational elements involved inprogrammes of multiskilling at enterprise level. Secondly, some of theproposed benefits and possible costs associated with such developmentsare identified and discussed. Finally, some suggestions for futureresearch and practice in the area are raised.
