TY - JOUR AB - The International Society for Neurochemistry was founded in 1967 and has attracted into its membership a large number of scientists working in the neurochemical and related fields. Its aim is to advance the science of neurochemistry and it does this by sponsoring biennial internationa1 meetings, most recently in Barcelona and in Copenhagen in 1977, and through its monthly publication, the Journal o Neurochemistry. f Although the strength and influence of a scientific Society is not determined solely by the number of its members, the more members it has the more representative of those working in that science it becomes. The purpose of this notice is to bring the Society to your attention. We, the Officers of the Society invite workers in the field to apply for membership on a form obtainable from the Secretary. There are two categories of memberships: (1) Ordinary membership-open to those who have published 3-5 papers on neurochemical subjects. (2) Associate membership-open to all other interested scientists. At present the annual subscription is 15 dollars for Ordinary Membership and 8 dollars for Associate Membership. Membership carries with it the right to subscribe to the Journal of Neurochemistry for 25 dollars/annum (2 volumes), a saving TI - INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR NEUROCHEMISTRY JF - Journal of Neurochemistry DO - 10.1111/j.1471-4159.1976.tb06495.x DA - 1976-05-01 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/wiley/international-society-for-neurochemistry-6EzRJw5yLX SP - 1056 VL - 26 IS - 5 DP - DeepDyve ER -
