( Headache 16 : 91-95, 1976) Dr. Z.: This young woman of twenty-four has a headache problem that goes back to age eighteen. It is also related to a warm sensation and a flushing of her ears and hands. The syndrome became severe in November of 1973. She has throbbing bi-frontal h eadaches that spread over the entire head. Often she awakens in the morning with headache, especially if she gets up suddenly. At times, she says, her face gets beefy red, she has blotching all over her body, and her ears become strikingly red during the headache and at other times as well. She tends to perspire profusely during these episodes.
