TY - JOUR AU - Kimmel, H. D. AB - Using 40 college students, the authors attempted to determine whether or not the unelicited GSR can be conditioned instrumentally using a visual reinforcer. The effects of the number of minutes of reinforcement following each unelicited GSR, the number of visual stimuli per minute of reinforcement, and whether or not the stimuli were contingent with the occurrence of unelicited GSRs were studied. The results were interpreted as supporting the conclusion that the unelicited GSR can be conditioned instrumentally. TI - Operant conditioning of the GSR.
