AB - The accuracy of two formulas for evaluating unusual differences was checked against the actual differences obtained by various percentages of the standardization sample for the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales. The results given by the formulas appear sufficiently accurate for most clinical applications, supporting their use when information on unusual differences is unavailable to the examiner.
