TY - JOUR AU - Hill, I. D. AB - Editor's note: Compared with the older standards, the tables in MIL-STD-105D were simplified and made more self-consistent by the adoption of a pattern of sample sizes following an approximate geometric progression with the same common ratio as the progression used for AQL values. This paper discusses the methods used in choosing the sample sizes and acceptance and rejection numbers for the single, double and multiple sampling tables, for normal, tightened and reduced inspection.
