Wright, and Mollie R. Gonick. This text examines the social and psychological significance of disability. The findings of the authors are reported in six chapters and topics include: Somatopsychological aspects of normal variations in physique, significance in crippling, psychology of tubercular, significance of impaired hearing, social psychology of acute illness, and employment of the disabled. Research summaries of significant studies given include an expression of the problem and subject, methods used, conclusions found. The reviewer notes that this monograph is extremely well done and serves a very useful purpose.
