TY - JOUR AU - Pelletier, Kenneth R. AB - Presents an integrated framework for comprehensive organizational wellness. In reviewing the literature on health promotion programs in organizations, the authors review eight core themes in conceptualizations of organizational health. They conclude that much literature suggests a "cross-level mimicry"--that is, the process of health promotion at the individual level and at the organizational level are parallel. The seconds part of this chapter describes four practitioner models of health promotion. Finally, the literature on effectiveness of health promotion and disease management programs is summarized.
