Strong expression of HER-2/neu in cancers has been as- p27, a CIP/KIP member, encodes a cyclin-dependent kinase sociated with poor prognosis. Reduced expression of inhibitor that causes G arrest by inhibiting the activities of Kip1 p27 , a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, correlates G cyclin-CDKs. As a negative regulator of the cell cycle, p27 is with poor clinical outcome in many types of carcinomas.
