TY - JOUR AU1 - Prislin, R AU2 - Kovrlija, N AB - Using Ajzen's theory of planned behavior, behavior intentions, attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control were assessed for 24 high and for 29 low self-monitors. In addition, behavior (attendance at class lectures) was unobtrusively recorded. Intentions were best predicted by attitudes of the low and by subjective norms of the high self-monitoring groups. Low self-monitors' overt behavior was predicted by intentions, and high self-monitors' behavior by the interaction of intention x perceived behavioral control.
