AB - Competitive, technological and demographic imperatives are combining to dramatically change the nature of tomorrow’s workplace, and the needs of workers and managers comprising this workplace. To a significant extent, meeting the challenge of this change will involve educating and reeducating people, and will mandate a much higher degree of cooperation between academic and corporate education establishments. To achieve this cooperation, differences in perceptions, policies, and practices which have traditionally militated against cooperation among higher and corporate education establishments must be addressed, and strategic planning initiatives undertaken to develop cooperative programs and formats that best meet corporate education needs.
