TY - JOUR AU - Galinsky, Maeda, J. AB - Abstract What group dimensions are most frequently perceived by social workers as having negative effects on members of groups? Do these perceptions vary with the role of the perceiver? In addressing these questions, the study reported in this article found that group leaders viewed composition of the group as a major source of harmful interaction and that members and observers saw group norms as a more frequent cause of negative effects.
