Nonionizing Radiations: Health Physics and Radiation Protection.— The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, will sponsor a course entitled "Nonionizing Radiations: Health Physics and Radiation Protection" from July 23 through 27, 1990. This course will emphasize practical considerations in safe and effective use of lasers, microwaves, UV light, magnetic fields, and ultrasound in industrial and medical practice, eg, methods and instrumentation for power measurement, calibration, dosimetry, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
