Systems theory The synthetic endeavour in the formal disciplines has been lasting about hundred years having been accompanied by a similar activity in the field of empirical sciences. In the formal branch, it happened in two directions: foundations of mathamatics, and theory of systems, The first one, begun by Cantor, Russell, Whitehead, and followers seems to be known more than the other one motivated by the claims of applications of abstracts theories in the empirical region. Now, the systems theory is considered to be a branch including theories of all fundamental formal and general concepts operated in sciences in the description and research of the world. Though established pregnantly about 20 years ago by von Bertalanffy [l], its first outlines are related to Lulllus’ [23 and Bruno’s [3] alphabetas rerum, Descartes’ [4] mathesis universalis, Comenius’ [5] theory of mundus possibilis, Leibniz’js [6] scientia generalis, and Ch. Wolff‘s [7] ontology. Ideas of these authors led to Kant’s [8] and N. Hartmann’s ]9[ ontologies, and on the other hand to Bolzano’s [ l O J and Husserl’s [ l l ] theory of meaning reactualized by Leszniewski’s [ 121 prototetics, mereology and ontology.
