LITERATURE of broadcasting Entries on Broadcasting in Sociological Abstracts, 1953-1963 Compiled by KENNETH HARWOOD1 Dr. Kenneth Harwood, who was a member of the board or officer of the APBE and its predecessor for a dozen years, is chairman of the Department of Telecommunications at the University of Southern California. HIS bibliography contains titles of 204 articles in periodical publi- cations, 1 chapter in a book, and 30 books. The titles appeared in Sociological Abstracts from the first issue of its first volume in Jan- uary, 1953, through the sixth issue of its eleventh volume in Septem- ber, 1963. The 235 titles were selected for listing in this bibliography because the abstracts that they headed seemed to be concerned with broadcasting in part or in whole.
