Abstract
A term associated with the application of analysis of variance in experimental designs, fixed‐effect refers to a type of independent variable or factor. Most researchers exploying experimental designs use fixed‐effects in that the levels of the independent variables are finite, known, and in most cases, manipulated by the researcher to be reasonable different to detect a difference on the dependent variable.
