Enantioselective Synthesis of Medium‐Sized Ring‐Bridged Oxabicycles by Ring‐Closing Metathesis

Enantioselective Synthesis of Medium‐Sized Ring‐Bridged Oxabicycles by Ring‐Closing Metathesis A flexible strategy is described for the enantioselective construction of both optical antipodes of the oxabicyclo(4.2.1)‐,‐(5.2.1)‐, and ‐(6.2.1)alkenes by a ring‐closing metathesis reaction of the suitable 2,5‐cis‐dialkenyltetrahydrofuran derivatives. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png European Journal of Organic Chemistry Wiley

Abstract

A flexible strategy is described for the enantioselective construction of both optical antipodes of the oxabicyclo(4.2.1)‐,‐(5.2.1)‐, and ‐(6.2.1)alkenes by a ring‐closing metathesis reaction of the suitable 2,5‐cis‐dialkenyltetrahydrofuran derivatives.
